An Everton Park Entrepreneur: A Client Success Story

Updated: Oct 27

Let me tell you how things went down on Tuesday last week.

I arrived at my clients home, as scheduled, and was greeted in the warm and familiar way she always greets me. We walked upstairs as we always do. Please, excuse the ... we'll pretend she used the word "mess".

✅ There was clean washing on the clothes horse (totally normal); we all wear clothes. 😉

✅ There were a few different toy categories out, that needed to be put away (standard); sometimes the whole "No, Mummy, I can do it" followed by a melt down and "Mummy, why you not helping me!" means the toys don't get cleaned up on the way out. 🤪

✅ The only other area was the dining table. Which was a visual representation of an entrepreneurs internet browser with all of the tabs open on their mobile phone. 😵‍💫

Realistically, together it would have been less than an hour and we'd have totally reset it. Though, I noted the distress it was causing her. It quickly became clear that the busy entrepreneur inside her was being smothered by the duties of mum life.

"Ok, while I appreciate things feel a bit much up here, I think we need to spend time sorting through your office and setting you up for success there".

So, we did just that. We spent time tackling the looming to-do list in her head which, while sitting un-actioned, felt as though she wasn't moving towards the vision she has for her business and her life.

At the end of our session, I asked her how she felt about the "mess" upstairs. She looked at me with complete gratitude and said, "not even an issue, I'll get that all sorted tonight once hubby gets home".
